Fr. Justin Oh was ordained a priest of Jesus Christ in August 2020 for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. He was born and raised in Cerritos, California and attended public school for most of his life until college. He graduated from USC, where he studied Psychology with hopes of continuing studies for Occupational Therapy.
After praying a 54-day rosary novena in his freshman year, Fr. Justin received his vocation to the priesthood but stubbornly refused to be generous for a number of years. However, through a deepening prayer life and apostolate in his parish, along with the intercession of a holy priest and seminarian, he responded to the call. In the fall of 2013, Fr. Justin entered St. John’s Seminary in Camarillo, California, where he spent the next seven years of formation and preparation to serve as a priest in the Archdiocese. Fr. Justin was first assigned to St. Gertrude the Great in Bell Gardens, California, where he served three wonderful years. He then served as an associate priest at St. Alphonsus Church in East Los Angeles for one year. Now, he has been appointed as administrator of Christ the King Parish, effective July 1, 2024. Fr. Justin loves his vocation and is humbled to celebrate the sacraments, especially the Holy Eucharist and the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
