The End of the World has never been so close
With each passing day, we are closer to the end of our lives on earth. And this means that the day when (finally!) we meet our Father. We will stand face to Face with Him and we will know (not in part) the enormity of His mercy.
We live in amazing times. God assumed a human body. God becomes HUMAN! He not only appreciated the weak man in an unimaginable way but revealed that He is God close to us. He understands man. He lives his life with him. He is at the center of even the most painful moments. Close to him, with him and only for him.
The act of Incarnation of the Son of God was not that Christ "disguised himself" as a man; He put on a human body during his earthly mission. God became Man. For all eternity! Every human experience is close to him; He experienced sadness, rejection, longing, fear.
God is so close that He gave His Son a name that defines His identity: Emmanuel - God with us.
Our earthly life is an amazing time. Streams of God's grace are pouring down from Heaven. God responds to the enormity of human sin with the fullness of his forgiveness and mercy.
It would be a pity to waste this time. Especially since the end of the world has never been so close.
