Heart of Jesus, Delight of all the Saints
The heart of Jesus is our promised land to which we head. It is a paradise garden, a delight of the human heart.
It is the longing and purpose of the human soul created in the image and likeness of God. There is no greater treasure than the heart of the Lord, which is full of love, full of holiness.
The heart of Jesus is hope and pleasure for us sinners who strive for perfect love. The fire of God's love burns everything that is unholy within us. This Heart still offers itself for us at the altars of the world for the forgiveness of our sins, freeing us from our burdens, opening us to the fullness of grace, fullness of happiness in God.
Nobody and nothing but the Heart of Jesus will saturate the deepest desires hidden in us. In Him, we will experience relief in the earthly journey. It is the Heart that still wants to open new graces for us. In Him there is always freshness, youth, joy and life. The heart of Jesus is able to fill our every hunger, our emptiness, loneliness, turning it into fullness and abundance.
We are born of God, therefore only in Him can we experience complete satisfaction. Everything earthly will pass away. Only what is eternal from the Creator will not pass away. The Holy Spirit wants to kindle in us a desire for holiness, a desire for God, that we would be saturated and filled with love for him.
Let us seek Jesus. Get to know him. Unite with the Lord on our life path - experiencing joy and inevitable fullness with him. With the help of grace, discover that we are always and everywhere surrounded by the love and mercy of the Savior's Heart. Let this heart be our greatest desire, our refuge, our home. We will become holy in him and through him.
Jesus present in the sacraments pours out on us from His heart springs of living water, filling us with His graces. Let’s wash ourselves in the Blood that flows from the wound of the Heart of the Lamb, allowing it to cleanse ourselves. Taste how good is the Lord when he feeds us with His Word and Body. Enjoy the sweetness of his love - gentle, patient, merciful ... It is for us. Have a continuous dialogue of our hearts with our Master, that we may experience His tender presence.
We need Jesus. And Jesus needs us to love us. And we are the delight of His Heart. It is a pleasure for Him to be in our heart filled with faith and pure love.
The Lord is still humbling himself before us, knocking our hearts to open the door for him, accepting everything that he himself wants to give us from his fullness.
Holy Spirit, come and open me to the love of Jesus' Heart. Lead me that my heart will desire my Lord. Help me to put all hope in Him. Open me and let me find fulfillment of my deepest longings and desires in Him. Lead me, that, by getting to know Him, I will enjoy the love of His Heart forever.
