Merry Christmas - A.D. 2021
Christmas - Joy and… gifts.
Christmas. The coming of God-Man in a human body. Joy and… gifts. Let us remember that at our birth, God gave us gifts. At Baptism, we received the infused virtues: faith, hope and love. What does it mean? It means we have the capability to believe, to hope and to love. For the upcoming Christmas, I wish us to develop these gifts. That we would believe with all our strength that God surely is, that He loves us, the proof of which is that He gives His Son to us, that we may become truly God's children. And that thanks to this faith, we will never be disappointed in God. If we are faithful to Him, we can firmly hope that eternal happiness awaits us in heaven, even if here on earth we did not succeed so much.
And finally, let us truly love. First, our loved ones. Let us show with our wishes how dear they are, how we will forgive them all minor and major stumbles, and how we enjoy their presence. Let us also ask Jesus for the grace of loving those who do not like us or who we do not like. Maybe it is worth to go to someone and end a long-lasting dispute. And if it is impossible, at least let us pray for these difficult people, that the Newborn would renewtheirs and our hearts.
Let our beloved Smiling Lady, take special care of us this Christmas. Let us look on to Her! And if the Mother smiles, the Child cannot be sad either. The baby is smiling, so, let us have hope.
