Fr. John-Paul Gonzalez

Fr. John-Paul is a native priest of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. He was born on the first anniversary of Pope John Paul II's pontificate, and twenty-two years later, the two would meet during a papal audience. Father John-Paul studied at St. John’s Seminary in Camarillo, California, where he received his Master of Divinity and Master of Arts (Systematic Theology) degrees. He was ordained a priest on June 3, 2006, in the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.

After ordination, he became an associate pastor at St. John of God Parish in Norwalk, California. For five years, Fr. John-Paul was a Chaplain at St. Paul High School. He is currently the pastor of St. Victor Church in West Hollywood and Associate Vicar for Canonical Services of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. His own personal pilgrimage to Poland made him a great devotee and promoter of the Divine Mercy devotion.
